Changing the Output Window in Visual C++ 2005 Express?

I'm trying to change the format of the output window in Visual C++ 2005 Express. I would like the window to look more like a list view of my errors and warnings and also have the option to hide any warnings the compiler gives me. Right now the output displays lines of plain text, but I've seen it on other machines having a much cleaner appearance.

Click on View-%26gt;Other Windows-%26gt;Error List . There is also lots of more windows you can add all over the interface.
